Keegan Allen Robbed at Gunpoint Outside LA Grocery Store

Actor Keegan Allen, 37, was brutally assaulted outside the Laurel Supply grocery store in West Hollywood on Thursday night, according to multiple reports ^[1]. The ‘Pretty Little Liars’ alum said two masked men attacked him, striking him in the head with a gun and threatening him with a knife before stealing only his watch ^[2]. Allen shared a graphic video on Instagram showing blood gushing from his head, visibly shaken as he asked someone off-camera to call the police ^[4]. He later told fans he went to the hospital and was ‘def concussed’ ^[3].

Security footage from the parking lot shows the suspects approaching Allen as he opened his car door, brandishing weapons and forcing him to hand over his watch and bracelet before fleeing ^[3]. Police confirmed they are investigating a violent robbery matching Allen’s description, including the use of a firearm and knife, on Santa Monica Boulevard ^[5].

Allen used his social media post to criticize city leaders, tagging Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom, questioning the effectiveness of the city’s Flock Safety surveillance system, which includes 39 license plate readers and six live-video cameras ^[1]. He wrote, ‘West Hollywood is not safe anymore,’ and said the cameras ‘will stop crime’ if they can find these ‘very dangerous criminals’ ^[2].

The incident has sparked widespread concern, with fans and media outlets expressing shock over the violent nature of the attack. Allen, best known for playing Toby Cavanaugh on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ (2010–2017), has also starred in ‘Walker’ (2021–2024) and recently appeared in ‘The Rookie’ ^[3]. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the investigation is ongoing ^[5].
