Editorial policy
Where our stories come from
We monitor the feeds of established news outlets and wire services and look for stories that several of them are covering at the same time. We do not report from the scene: every fact in our articles comes from the outlets we cite, and each article lists them with links in its Sources box.
How articles are written
Articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools from the cited reporting, then checked against rules: no copied sentences, every claim tied to a source, allegations written as allegations, and claims made by only one outlet marked as unconfirmed. Most articles are reviewed by an editor before publication. Some stories in light categories (sport, tech, viral and weird news) can be published automatically when they pass every check, and an editor reviews them afterwards.
What we do not publish
No sexualised content about real people, nothing about the bodies of minors, no leaked or private material, no home addresses or details that identify private individuals, and no claims of wrongdoing that a source does not report.
Headlines
Our headlines aim to make you curious, but they must be true to the story. If you think one is misleading, tell us.
Corrections and removals
We correct errors as soon as we know about them and handle removal requests within 24 hours. Write to [email protected]; details are on the contact page.
Images
We only use our own graphics, freely licensed photos (for example from Wikimedia Commons) and licensed stock photos, each credited under the picture. We never reuse news outlets' photos.
